5 Things fo’ Friday

It’s Spring! And like I’ve posted earlier, we are in full swing of cleaning, wedding prep, switching out of winter mode, we will be back into the normal routine again soon. We have an exciting new blog post series coming up on spring cleaning and getting organized, but for now it’s Friday! And these are some of my favorite things this week:

1. Laura Love, you know the model-dancer-dream girl-daughter of famed Vogue editor Lisa Love? She swears by this stuff according to Lucky Magazine. And I want to try it: Biologique Recherche Masque Tip: their website says to mix with a little baking soda for an extra punch.

2. Spring is for new scents, flowers, fresh rain, and new perfumes! I’ve got some major lust for Kate Spade’s “Walk On Air” and of course there is a matching clutch if you dare.

3. MAC Lipstick in Maria Moretti (yes, the famous DJ has her own lipstick now). The blue undertones intrigue me. And I love a good red. Also, her style is to die for. Festival chic at it’s best.

4. Carven Vetiver. Another perfume. But this time, the inspiration started with their cologne. I love wearing scents that are actually meant for men. Calvin Klein, anyone? This one is on my to-buy list, for men and women. They had me at sandalwood.

5. I’ve saved the best for last- I keep telling my friends that normcore is a thing and the 90s and early 2000s are totally coming back, much to my delight and simultaneous horror that I’m now that old. But John Frieda agrees with me and has reinstated the Beach Blonde Sea Waves spray-in salt spray!!! I’m not a blonde, and will never be, it’s just not going to work for me. But this stuff works on everyone, the yellows just get to claim part of the name. I can. not. wait. to get my hands on another bottle of this stuff, I love the way it makes my wavy hair feel and smell. Takes me right back to reliving summer nights out after lifeguarding. Stock up because you don’t want to miss out on this delicious coconut trend when it leaves.
